Mee Goreng

Mee Goreng literally means fried noodle. Mee Goreng (Indian version) is sometimes called Mee Goreng Mamak which is usually sold by Indian (Mamak) stalls. There are several variations of the Mee Goreng Mamak based on the type of noodle used. By default, it uses yellow Hokkien noodle. Other variations use bee hoon, Maggi noodle, Kway Teow noodle or a mix of them.

Basically, the noodle is fried with sweet soy sauce with spicy sambal and egg. Some variants have sunny-side egg, beef or chicken added.
